Too Scared to Shop Online

50% of Americans are too scared to purchase products online due to security risks, and 39% of Americans are too frightened to share information on a website that requires personal information to create an account, such as a discussion group or social media site. This information comes from Forrester Research, a global technology advisory firm, and Forrester suggests that since half the population, out of fear, refuses to take part in e-commerce boom, while over a third of the population cannot be cajoled to embrace social media, this technological division in our country will have lasting repercussions with regards to future growth.
